About the Opportunity

WSP in the Middle East is seeking a Design Manager Structural & Civil to join our dedicated team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is integral to supporting the successful design and delivery of major development projects within a rapidly expanding developer portfolio.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all structural and civil engineering design activities. A key aspect of this role involves ensuring that engineering solutions are fully coordinated, practical, and precisely aligned with overall project objectives and requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage structural and civil engineering consultants and their design deliverables.
• Review engineering reports, calculations, drawings, and technical submissions.
• Coordinate interfaces between buildings, infrastructure, utilities, and public realm elements.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.
• Participate in design reviews, risk workshops, and value engineering exercises.
• Monitor consultant performance and programme commitments.
• Support technical decision-making throughout design development.
• Coordinate engineering inputs across multidisciplinary project teams.
• Assist with tender reviews and construction support activities when required.

Candidate Requirements

• A minimum of 15+ years of relevant experience in structural and civil design management.
• Demonstrated experience on large-scale mixed-use, residential, commercial, or hospitality developments.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role requires a dedicated presence to effectively manage project design and delivery within the region.
