About the Role

Trivers is seeking a Design Manager to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves leading architectural and interior design processes to ensure high-quality designs that meet both regulatory requirements and client expectations. The Design Manager will be responsible for managing design resources, coordinating with consultants, and overseeing a team of designers to deliver projects efficiently while adhering to project budgets.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of design strategies across all project phases, from concept to construction.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants (architects, engineers, planners) to ensure cohesive and integrated design solutions.
• Review and approve design submissions to ensure alignment with project objectives, brand standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee the preparation and delivery of design documentation, including concept designs, schematic drawings, construction drawings, and tender packages.
• Provide technical input and design guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Facilitate timely resolution of design-related issues, including those arising during construction.
• Ensure all design work complies with Saudi building codes, zoning laws, and environmental regulations.
• Conduct design audits and manage quality control measures to maintain accuracy and design integrity.
• Support in obtaining design approvals from relevant authorities and municipalities.
• Liaise with Project Management, Development, and Marketing teams to ensure design meets functional, commercial, and branding requirements.
• Present design concepts and progress reports to senior management and key stakeholders.
• Act as a key point of contact for consultants, contractors, and regulatory bodies on design-related matters.
• Stay updated with industry trends, materials, technology, and sustainability innovations.
• Recommend design improvements and new approaches to maintain design competitiveness.

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates for this role should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in design management within the architectural and interior design sectors. A strong understanding of design principles, project delivery, and regulatory compliance is essential.
