About the Role

Alfanar is seeking a Digital Solutions Manager to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is responsible for leading the development, positioning, delivery, and lifecycle management of digital solutions for customers across the utilities, energy, water, infrastructure, and industrial sectors. The role involves bridging business requirements with Operational Technology (OT) and Information Technology (IT) to deliver scalable and innovative digital solutions that enhance operational efficiency, asset performance, reliability, and overall business outcomes. The Digital Solutions Manager will also drive digital transformation initiatives, support business growth, and ensure successful project execution.

Core Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Digital Solutions strategy, aligning with business objectives and growth plans, and defining solution roadmaps based on customer needs and market trends.
• Lead the design of end-to-end digital and automation solutions, integrating OT and IT environments, and ensuring compliance with technical standards, cybersecurity, and industry best practices.
• Oversee the configuration, customization, deployment, and support of digital applications and platforms, including workflows, dashboards, reports, analytics, and business process automation solutions.
• Lead the integration of industrial and enterprise platforms to ensure seamless interoperability between operational and enterprise environments.
• Act as a trusted advisor to customers on digital transformation initiatives, leading workshops, technical discussions, and supporting sales and business development teams in solution positioning and proposal development.
• Drive the adoption of advanced technologies, evaluate emerging solutions, and develop strategies to improve operational performance, asset reliability, and customer value.
• Oversee the successful delivery of digital solutions projects, ensuring completion within scope, schedule, budget, quality, and safety requirements, and managing project risks.

Leadership and Team Development

• Lead, mentor, and develop solution architects, application engineers, and digital specialists, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
• Recruit, recognize, and cultivate high performers to build a robust management pipeline, while also guiding or managing low performers based on performance criteria.
• Ensure fair treatment of subordinates without discrimination and base assessments on performance leading to planned results.
• Take full responsibility for operations and deliverables, anticipating problems and making timely, proactive decisions.

Business Operations and Compliance

• Deliver required results in a timely manner, meeting quality and cost objectives, and making a tangible difference to the area of operation.
• Translate corporate goals into business plans, monitor plan performance, initiate corrective actions, and provide periodic progress reports.
• Manage and control budgets and expenses to achieve optimum cost efficiency.
• Develop organizational structures according to current and future requirements, ensuring job descriptions are available for all roles.
• Develop and coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, and procedures, seeking automation opportunities and promoting the full use of IT solutions.
• Uphold quality as a prime competitive advantage and adapt to new techniques, technologies, management structures, and business models.
• Ensure a safe, secure, and legal work environment in accordance with standard regulations.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant professional experience.

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
