Overview of the Strategic Management Office Director Role

Vantage Search Group ME is seeking a Director of SMO for a prominent Saudi organization located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is designed for a professional with over 10 years of experience, who will lead a Strategic Management Office within an organization undergoing significant strategic transformation.

Role Responsibilities

• Manage the cascading of KPIs and performance metrics across all divisions to ensure strategic alignment from the CEO's office throughout the organization.
• Collaborate with Corporate Performance and EPMO functions, as well as cross-functional leadership, to translate strategic objectives into actionable execution plans.
• Engage directly with the CEO, C-suite, and external consultants on matters of strategic planning and organizational priorities.
• Establish and build a new team and departmental structure over the coming months.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to seven chief-level stakeholders and senior leadership regarding strategic direction and performance.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience is required.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage strategic initiatives within a large organization.
• Experience in establishing and developing new teams or departments.
