About the Role

CoreAxis invites applications for an Electrical BIM Modeler to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is suitable for professionals with 0-1 years of experience, focusing on the development and maintenance of detailed electrical Building Information Models for construction projects. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain electrical BIM models (power, lighting, low current, fire alarm, etc.) using Revit and Civil 3D, adhering to project standards and client requirements.
• Produce detailed shop drawings and construction documents at LOD 400 and LOD 500.
• Coordinate electrical models with architectural, structural, and other MEP disciplines to resolve clashes and ensure constructability.
• Utilize Civil 3D for site/civil-related electrical infrastructure coordination, including cable routing, duct banks, and external electrical networks as required.
• Extract quantities, schedules, and material takeoffs from BIM models.
• Support the Technical Office in preparing submittals, RFIs, and as-built documentation.
• Apply and enforce BIM execution plans (BEP), modeling standards, and naming conventions.
• Collaborate with project engineers, design teams, and site teams to ensure model accuracy and drawing quality.
• Manage model version control and coordinate updates across project phases.
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings and clash detection reviews using Navisworks or similar tools.

Required Technical Skills and Knowledge

• Strong proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools and workflows, with proven experience creating and managing electrical models.
• Knowledge of Architecture and coordination with architectural designs to ensure accurate integration of electrical systems.
• Understanding of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems and their interaction within multidisciplinary building projects.
• Ability to read, interpret, and develop Construction Drawings, including plans, sections, and details.
• Familiarity with industry-standard BIM software, including Revit and Navisworks, and basic clash detection methodologies.

Qualifications and Professional Attributes

• Experience as a Modeler, including the ability to translate design information and specifications into detailed, constructible models.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, on-site project environment.
• Previous experience in construction or engineering projects in the region is considered an advantage.

Work Setting

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The position requires active participation in project meetings and close coordination with project stakeholders, supporting the MEP design teams and collaborating with architects, engineers, and site teams to resolve issues.
