About the Role

Dar wa Emaar is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves overseeing electrical engineering aspects of projects, from design review to on-site supervision, ensuring compliance with standards and project timelines. The role requires a professional with 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

Review and approve electrical design drawings, load calculations, and technical specifications.
Coordinate with consultants to ensure adherence to local authority regulations and international standards.
Participate in value engineering initiatives to optimize costs while maintaining quality.
Review shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
Supervise on-site electrical works, including power distribution, lighting systems, ELV systems, fire alarm, and grounding systems.
Ensure that work execution aligns with approved drawings and project timelines.
Coordinate effectively with civil, mechanical, and architectural teams to prevent conflicts.
Monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with established quality standards.

Qualifications and Experience

A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in electrical engineering.
Demonstrated ability to review and approve complex electrical designs and specifications.
Proven experience in supervising on-site electrical installations and ensuring quality control.

Skills and Competencies

Strong understanding of local authority regulations and international electrical standards.
Proficiency in coordinating with various engineering disciplines.
Ability to monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, requiring active involvement in both office-based design review and on-site project supervision.
