Role Overview

Connect Professional Services is seeking an Enterprise Networks & Data Center Engineer (L2 Operations) to provide second-line operational support for one of its customers in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves troubleshooting, incident resolution, and implementation support across enterprise network and data center infrastructure within a 24x7 operational environment.

Core Responsibilities

• Provide L2 support for enterprise network and data center infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network incidents.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring and major incidents.
• Implement approved network configuration changes in adherence to change management procedures.
• Monitor network performance, availability, and capacity.
• Perform network health checks, configuration validation, and post-change verification.

Technical Infrastructure Focus

The successful candidate will support a modern enterprise infrastructure, focusing on Cisco solutions. This includes:

• Cisco Software-Defined Access (SDA) Fabric environments.
• Cisco Catalyst Center operations and network automation activities.
• Cisco Catalyst switching environments, covering Layer 2 and Layer 3 services.
• Cisco Catalyst 9800 Wireless Controllers, Cisco Access Points, Wireless Fabric, WLANs, and client connectivity.
• Cisco Nexus Data Center switching environments, including vPC, VLANs, Layer 2, and Layer 3 connectivity.
• Cisco WAN and Internet infrastructure, including Cisco ISR/ASR routers, MPLS, Internet, VPN, OSPF, BGP, NAT, and IP SLA.

Operational Collaboration and Documentation

• Collaborate with L1 Operations, L3 Engineering, vendors, and Cisco TAC to restore services and resolve complex technical issues.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation, operational procedures, and incident records.
• Participate in planned maintenance activities and provide on-call support as required.

Required Experience

Candidates should possess 5 to 10 years of experience in enterprise networking and data center operations, with a strong focus on the specified Cisco technologies and L2 support functions.

This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and requires a commitment to supporting a 24x7 operational environment, including participation in on-call rotations and planned maintenance.
