Egis is seeking a dedicated Environment Engineer to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is central to supporting environmental management and compliance activities within our projects.

Role Overview

The Environment Engineer will focus on construction environmental assurance, environmental monitoring, regulatory liaison, and stakeholder engagement. This position requires a professional with 5-10 years of experience, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to monitor environmental performance, analyze data, and ensure adherence to applicable environmental requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Support construction environmental assurance activities, including site inspections and compliance monitoring.
• Implement and support environmental monitoring programs in accordance with project and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive environmental documentation, reports, and records to ensure regulatory compliance and organizational accountability.
• Analyze environmental data to identify trends, potential non-compliances, and required corrective actions.
• Collaborate with project teams to integrate environmental considerations into construction and project delivery activities.
• Support regulatory liaison, including the preparation and coordination of environmental information and submissions to relevant authorities.
• Conduct environmental audits and inspections to verify compliance with established policies and legal requirements.
• Engage and coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants, regulatory authorities, and other project stakeholders on environmental matters.
• Prepare and present environmental monitoring results, compliance findings, and other environmental information to relevant stakeholders.
• Stay current with evolving environmental regulations and industry standards to ensure organizational compliance.

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in the GCC and Saudi Arabia, specifically in construction environmental assurance and environmental monitoring.
• Proven experience in regulatory liaison and engagement with relevant authorities in Saudi Arabia.
• A postgraduate qualification in an environmental or related discipline is preferred.
