About the Executive Event Sales Role

W Hotels is seeking an Executive Event Sales professional to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves managing guest interactions, maximizing revenue through sales techniques, and supporting the Sales & Marketing department. The role requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Contacting relevant individuals or departments (*, Sales, Data Administration, Accounting) to resolve guest calls, requests, or problems.
• Utilizing sales techniques to maximize revenue while maintaining guest loyalty, including up-selling.
• Determining and providing complimentary gifts to guests as a token of appreciation for their patronage (*, rewards points, show tickets, gift certificates).
• Promoting awareness of the brand image both internally and externally.
• Processing requests for redeeming Marriott Rewards points.
• Handling all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received via phone, fax, or mail.
• Entering Marriott Rewards information into the appropriate software when taking guest reservations.
• Answering, recording, and processing all guest calls, requests, questions, or concerns.
• Performing general office duties to support Sales & Marketing, such as filing, sending emails, typing, and faxing.

Operational Support and Standards

• Assisting management in training and motivating employees, serving as a role model.
• Adhering to all company policies and procedures, ensuring a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance, maintaining confidentiality of proprietary information, and protecting company assets.
• Welcoming and acknowledging all guests according to company standards, anticipating and addressing guests’ service needs, and thanking guests with genuine appreciation.
• Communicating with others using clear and professional language, preparing and reviewing written documents accurately and completely, and answering telephones using appropriate etiquette.
• Developing and maintaining positive working relationships with colleagues, supporting the team to achieve common goals, and listening and responding appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
• Monitoring the performance of others to ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.

Physical Requirements and General Duties

• Reading and visually verifying information in various formats.
• Moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.
• Performing other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess 2-5 years of experience in a relevant field. The position requires a professional who can effectively manage guest relations and support sales and marketing initiatives.
