About Webook and the Global Operations Manager Role

*******, Saudi Arabia's leading event ticketing and experience booking platform, is seeking a Global Operations Manager to join its team in Riyadh, Riyadh Province. ******* leads in technology, features, agility, and revenue, serving major mega-events across the Kingdom and surpassing over 2 billion in sales.

Role Purpose and International Expansion

This full-time role is responsible for driving the company’s international growth by overseeing new market entry. The process spans from initial feasibility studies to full operational launch. The position requires a blend of strategic analysis, regulatory navigation, cross-functional coordination, and project execution to ensure each new country is launched efficiently and integrated seamlessly into the organization’s global ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive market research for target regions and prepare country entry business cases, presenting recommendations to leadership.
• Lead license and permit applications with local regulators and authorities, liaising with external consultants, legal firms, and government agencies to ensure full compliance.
• Maintain a repository of entity documents and regulatory updates.
• Oversee entity formation, bank account openings, and hiring setup in new markets, coordinating with Legal, Finance, Operations, and HR to achieve go-live readiness.
• Manage localization projects, ensuring that the app/website, payment methods, and customer care channels are adapted to the new country, partnering with Product, Tech, and Marketing teams.
• Monitor expansion milestones, risk logs, and budgets, reporting progress weekly to leadership, and maintaining dashboards and trackers for all ongoing and upcoming markets.
• Ensure newly launched entities are fully integrated into global governance, reporting, and compliance frameworks, partnering with internal stakeholders to align accounting, HR, and operations processes.

Qualifications and Experience

• 4-6 years of relevant professional experience.
• Exceptional project management and stakeholder coordination skills.

Work Environment and Expectations

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh. The role requires comfort working across multiple time zones and functions, reflecting the global nature of Webook's expansion initiatives.
