About the Role

JAL | جال is seeking a Governance, Risk and Compliance Specialist to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time position is central to supporting the organization's governance, risk management, and compliance activities, ensuring adherence to both regulatory and cybersecurity requirements.

Role Overview

The specialist will be responsible for conducting comprehensive risk assessments, developing and maintaining robust policies and procedures, and monitoring internal controls. This role is critical in supporting audit processes and ensuring continuous compliance with applicable regulatory standards and cybersecurity frameworks across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain governance, risk, and compliance policies and procedures.
• Conduct risk assessments and manage risk registers.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls.
• Support internal and external audit activities.
• Track and facilitate remediation of compliance gaps and audit findings.
• Ensure alignment with relevant cybersecurity frameworks and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare reports and dashboards for management.
• Support the continuous improvement of the organization’s governance and compliance framework.

Required Experience

Candidates for this role should possess 5 to 10 years of experience in governance, risk management, and compliance. This experience should demonstrate a proven ability to effectively manage GRC activities within an organizational setting.
