The Role of Government Relations Representative

Salehiya Healthcare is seeking a Government Relations Representative to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves building and maintaining effective relationships with government entities and managing all assigned government-related transactions and procedures. The role operates under the direction of the Government Affairs Manager, ensuring business interests are protected, regulatory compliance is maintained, and operations run efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and liaise with various government and regulatory authorities, including municipalities, Civil Defense, Chambers of Commerce, Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, environmental authorities, Ministry of Transport, and the Traffic Department, to ensure regulatory compliance.
Manage and follow up on the issuance and renewal of operational licenses, building permits, safety certifications, and other regulatory approvals essential for business continuity.
Handle company vehicle-related transactions, such as registrations, licenses, ownership transfers, and renewals, along with other regulatory requirements.
Address and follow up on matters concerning traffic violations, police cases, security authorities, and other government-related issues.
Coordinate with embassies, consulates, and relevant authorities for visa processing and travel-related government procedures.
Represent the company before government entities on matters of licensing, permits, compliance, and operational issues.
Follow up on observations, violations, and regulatory requirements issued by government authorities, ensuring their timely resolution.
Develop and maintain effective relationships with government officials and regulatory bodies to facilitate business operations.
