About the Role: Guest Experience Expert

Courtyard by Marriott is seeking a full-time Guest Experience Expert to join its team in Riyadh. This role is fundamental to ensuring a seamless and positive experience for all guests, from managing check-in procedures to handling requests and processing payments. Key Responsibilities

• Manage guest check-in processes, including identity verification, payment confirmation, room assignment, and key issuance.
• Set up accurate guest accounts and input Marriott Rewards information.
• Ensure rates align with market codes and document any exceptions.
• Process all payment types, vouchers, paid-outs, and charges, securing payment before key issuance and verifying billing.
• Compile and review daily reports, logs, and contingency lists; complete cashier and closing reports.
• Balance and drop receipts, and manage the bank at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Provide guests with directions and comprehensive property information.
• Accommodate guest requests, coordinating with appropriate staff and ensuring timely follow-up.
• Obtain manual authorizations and adhere to all Accounting procedures.
• Notify Loss Prevention/Security of any reported theft incidents.
• Assist management in training, evaluating, counseling, motivating, and coaching employees, serving as a role model.
• Develop positive working relationships, support team goals, and respond appropriately to employee concerns.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, report accidents or unsafe conditions, and complete required safety training.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance, ensure confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests, anticipate service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and express genuine appreciation.
• Communicate using clear, professional language, prepare accurate written documents, and use appropriate telephone etiquette.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and utilize computer/POS systems for information management.
• Perform physical duties including standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, and moving objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
• Execute other reasonable job duties as assigned by Supervisors.

Qualifications and Experience

• High school diploma or *** equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related work experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.

Essential Skills and Attributes

Candidates for this role should possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating the ability to interact professionally with guests and colleagues. Attention to detail, particularly in financial transactions and record-keeping, is essential. The role requires proficiency in using computer and POS systems, along with the physical capacity to perform duties that involve extended periods of standing or walking and light lifting. A commitment to upholding quality standards and fostering positive working relationships is also key.
