About the Opportunity

iHR (International Human Resources) is recruiting on behalf of a client for the position of HVAC Projects & Operations Manager. This full-time role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and involves leading and overseeing HVAC projects and daily operations. The manager will ensure successful project delivery, operational excellence, quality compliance, and profitability while managing engineering and technical teams.

Role Purpose

The HVAC Projects & Operations Manager is responsible for the comprehensive management of projects from initiation through final handover. This position requires a strategic approach to developing and monitoring project schedules and execution plans, ensuring all activities align with quality standards and operational objectives. The role also encompasses driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall efficiency and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage projects from initiation through final handover.
• Develop and monitor project schedules and execution plans.
• Lead engineering and technical teams across multiple projects.
• Review technical drawings, project documentation, and change orders.
• Monitor project progress, resolve operational challenges, and ensure timely delivery.
• Oversee branch operations, warehouse activities, and resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and occupational health & safety requirements.
• Establish operational KPIs and prepare reports for senior management.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and profitability.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (HVAC) or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in HVAC projects and contracting.
• Proven experience managing engineering and technical teams.
• Strong knowledge of project contracts, risk management, and project execution.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD (MS Project or Primavera is a plus).

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position primarily based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves managing projects and operations that may span across multiple locations, including cities such as Jeddah, requiring adaptability and comprehensive oversight of regional activities.
