Head of HR Workmen

About the Role

Larsen & Toubro is seeking a Head of HR – Workmen to manage the human resources function for workmen involved in solar EPC projects. This full-time position is based in Riyadh and focuses on labour welfare, compliance, recruitment, employee relations, and performance management. The role ensures effective implementation of HR policies and initiatives, fostering a productive and harmonious work environment for workmen across project sites in GCC Countries.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the recruitment process for workmen across multiple solar EPC project sites.
• Coordinate with site managers and supervisors to identify labour requirements and ensure timely recruitment.
• Oversee the onboarding process for new workmen, ensuring proper induction into company policies, safety procedures, and project requirements.
• Act as the primary point of contact for workmen-related queries and concerns.
• Foster positive relationships with the workforce and serve as a liaison between workmen, management, and other stakeholders.
• Monitor and ensure adherence to the company's welfare initiatives, including health and safety, accommodation, and transportation for workmen.
• Handle conflict resolution and disciplinary actions in accordance with company policies and labour laws.

Required Experience

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in human resources, specifically managing HR functions for workmen in project-based environments, preferably within the EPC or solar industry.

Work Environment

This role operates in a dynamic project-based environment across GCC Countries, with a primary focus on solar EPC projects. The position requires a commitment to maintaining high standards of labour welfare and compliance.
