The Role of Head of Information Technology

Hayaness Company is seeking a Head of Information Technology to lead its IT function. This full-time, on-site position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The Head of IT will be responsible for ensuring that the company’s technology strategy, infrastructure, and operations effectively support overall business objectives. The role involves overseeing IT governance, managing IT teams, and coordinating technology projects across various departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing IT strategies aligned with business goals.
• Managing IT budgets and optimizing resource allocation.
• Supervising infrastructure and systems maintenance to ensure operational efficiency.
• Ensuring high levels of system reliability, security, and performance.
• Establishing policies and standards for IT operations.
• Partnering with senior leadership on digital transformation initiatives.
• Managing relationships with external vendors and service providers.
• Monitoring emerging technologies and assessing their potential impact.
• Assessing IT-related risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Driving continuous improvement in IT processes and services.

Qualifications and Experience

• A strong foundation in Information Technology with broad knowledge of enterprise systems, networks, and security.
• Proven experience of 5-10 years in IT Management and IT Operations, including leading teams and overseeing day-to-day support and service delivery.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute IT Strategy aligned with organizational goals and future growth.
• Hands-on experience with IT Infrastructure, including servers, cloud services, networking, and related technologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
• Experience in budgeting, vendor management, and contract negotiation for IT products and services.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. An advanced degree or relevant certifications (*, ITIL, PMP, CISSP, cloud certifications) are considered an advantage.
• Ability to work on-site in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving business environment.
