About Nextwo Co. and the Head of Payments Role

Nextwo Co. is seeking a Head of Payments to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time executive-level position involves leading the company's payments strategy, operations, and growth initiatives. The role requires a professional with over 10 years of experience in the payments sector, ready to drive significant impact within a dynamic environment.

Role Overview

The Head of Payments will be responsible for overseeing the entire payments ecosystem at Nextwo Co., encompassing product development, commercial strategies, and strategic partnerships. This leadership position requires a strong focus on market expansion, regulatory compliance, and team development to achieve business objectives and enhance market share.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the company's overall strategy, growth, and daily operations across product, commercial, and partnerships functions.
Build and scale relationships with banks, merchants, and financial institutions to grow transaction volume and market share.
Own the payments product roadmap, ensuring it meets merchant, customer, and regulatory needs.
Drive customer and merchant acquisition, revenue growth, and overall commercial performance.
Navigate and maintain compliance within Saudi Arabia's evolving payments regulatory environment (SAMA).
Build and lead a high-performing team across product, operations, business development, and partnerships.
Represent the company externally with banks, regulators, investors, and strategic partners.
Set the vision for the company's next stage of growth and execute against it.

Qualifications and Requirements

Over 10 years of hands-on experience in payments, fintech, digital banking, or a closely related field. Longer experience will be considered for exceptional candidates.
Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following areas: Electronic Payments, Payment Gateway, Merchant Acquiring, Digital Payments, Payment Services, or Digital Banking.
Proven track record leading a team, project, or business unit.
Strong commercial and product mindset, with an understanding of revenue, growth, customers, and partnerships.
Genuine ambition and readiness to step into an executive-level role and grow with the company.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will operate within a fast-paced environment, collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders to achieve strategic objectives.
