Infrastructure & Technology Operations Director

About the Role

Lifera is seeking an Infrastructure & Technology Operations Director to lead the management and delivery of the company's infrastructure and technology operations across the Group. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and requires over 10 years of experience. The role focuses on ensuring the availability, reliability, security, scalability, and resilience of technology environments and services, including infrastructure, cloud services, networks, hosting, workplace technologies, IT service management, and end-user support.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and oversee the implementation of the operational plan for the Infrastructure & Technology Operations function to achieve functional objectives.
• Manage the annual budget for the Infrastructure & Technology Operations function, including operating costs, capital investments, and vendor contracts.
• Define, implement, and maintain infrastructure, cloud, network, hosting, and technology operations standards across Lifera and its subsidiaries.
• Direct the management of enterprise infrastructure environments, including cloud services, servers, networks, data centers, and workplace technologies.
• Run IT operations and service management, including service desk, desktop support, end-user support, and incident management, ensuring agreed service levels are met.
• Lead the delivery of technical support services to functions and subsidiaries, covering user support, issue resolution, hardware support, and device management.
• Monitor infrastructure availability, operational capacity, service performance, and support effectiveness, taking action to address issues.
• Direct the coordination of system maintenance, backup, recovery, and IT disaster recovery activities in line with business continuity requirements.
• Oversee the coordination of infrastructure requirements with enterprise applications and other technology capabilities.
• Ensure appropriate coordination and timely resolution of infrastructure incidents, service disruptions, and operational issues.
• Oversee reporting on infrastructure availability, capacity, service performance, and operational issues to management.
• Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities in infrastructure reliability, technology operations, and service management.
• Deliver the infrastructure roadmap, including cloud strategy, data center and disaster recovery sites, WAN and wireless networks, and onboarding new entities.
• Drive automation of infrastructure and IT operations, including provisioning, patching, monitoring, and support processes.
• Manage technology vendors and managed service providers, including contract performance, SLAs, and service reviews.
• Establish and run the IT service management system, including service catalogue, SLAs, knowledge management, and customer satisfaction measurement.
• Implement operational controls required by IT Policy and regulatory frameworks, such as patch management, asset and configuration management, and disaster recovery testing.
• Track and report KPIs on service reliability, infrastructure availability, customer satisfaction, and cost efficiency, driving corrective actions as needed.
• Lead, build, and develop the Infrastructure & Technology Operations team, including cloud, network, service desk, endpoint, and automation engineers.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in infrastructure and technology operations.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in managing complex technology environments.
• Strong understanding of cloud services, network infrastructure, data centers, and workplace technologies.
• Experience with IT service management (ITSM) systems and processes.
• Familiarity with IT policy and regulatory frameworks (*, NCA ECC).
