Hawkamah Solutions supports organizations across Saudi Arabia by establishing robust governance, risk management, and internal audit frameworks. The firm is seeking an Internal Audit Leader to head its advisory practice. This full-time position is available in Riyadh and the Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia.

Role Overview

The Internal Audit Leader will be responsible for the delivery of high-quality internal audit advisory engagements. This role also involves driving business development for the practice and managing client portfolios alongside consulting teams. The position requires a strategic approach to internal audit services.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end delivery of internal audit advisory services, leading engagement teams and ensuring technical excellence in line with IIA standards (IPPF).
• Drive growth for the Internal Audit practice by identifying client needs, crafting tailored proposals, and expanding strategic business opportunities.
• Assist client organizations in strengthening their internal control environments, risk assessment models, and governance frameworks.
• Serve as an advisor to senior executives, boards, and audit committees across various industries.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Experience: A minimum of 7 years of professional experience in Internal Audit, with a strong background in advisory or professional consulting services. Experience with Big 4 firms or equivalent consulting is an advantage.
• Language: Bilingual fluency in Arabic and English, both spoken and written, is essential for this role.
• Business Acumen: Demonstrated track record in practice growth and business development within internal audit or GRC services.
• Professional Certifications: At least one relevant professional designation is required (*, CIA, CISA, CRMA, CFE, or SOCPA fellowship). Additional certifications are considered an advantage.
• Leadership: Proven ability to mentor, direct, and manage audit teams while effectively balancing multiple client portfolios.

The Internal Audit Practice at Hawkamah Solutions

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the development of a growing governance and internal audit practice. The practice provides exposure to AI-powered internal audit through the Edama Audit platform. Professionals in this role will have direct access to senior leadership and engage in board-level assignments.
