About the Role

Zahid Tractor is seeking a Full-time Internal Auditor-ll-IAD to join its team in Riyadh. This role involves conducting internal audits of company activities under the guidance and direction of a Senior Auditor. The Internal Auditor will contribute to ensuring the integrity and reliability of financial and operational information, supporting compliance with established policies, and assisting in the preparation of comprehensive audit reports.

Core Responsibilities

• Plan audit assignments based on risk-based auditing principles.
• Review the means of safeguarding company assets, both tangible and intangible, and verify their existence.
• Assess the reliability and integrity of financial and operating information, including the methods used to identify, measure, classify, and report such data.
• Review systems established to ensure compliance with policies, plans, procedures, laws, and regulations that could significantly impact operations, and report on organizational adherence.
• Evaluate the economy and efficiency with which resources are employed across various company operations, including Systems/IT, Production, Engineering, Marketing/Sales, and Human Resources/Personnel, and recommend improvements to eliminate duplication, waste, and bureaucracy.
• Prepare interim audit reports and follow up on the communication of final reports and subsequent actions taken regarding recommendations.
• Perform any other responsibilities assigned by IAD Management.

Educational Qualifications

Candidates should possess a ** degree in Accounting, Finance, or Information Systems. A strong aptitude for internal auditing is essential. Applicants planning to pursue certifications such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), or other relevant certifications in internal auditing, internal controls, or IT security are encouraged. This requirement may be relaxed for candidates demonstrating exceptional aptitude and higher relevant experience.

Required Experience and Mindset

Applicants must have a minimum of one year of experience gained within an international audit firm, an internal auditing department, or a finance department of a reputable organization. This experience should include exposure to best practices in risk management, control, and governance processes. Given the constant transformations in regulatory requirements, processes, and technology, a forward-thinking mindset is crucial for delivering effective assurance and advisory services. A valid Driving License is also required for this position.

Key Interactions

This role involves regular interaction with various stakeholders. Internally, the auditor will collaborate closely with the Internal Audit Team and engage with Line Managers across different processes and business units as audit clients. Externally, the position requires coordination and communication with External Auditors.
