About the Role

Afaq - Warehouse Branch is expanding its Learning team within Amazon Operations and is seeking a Learning Specialist, AMZL Transportation Field L&D. This full-time role is based in Riyadh and requires 0-1 years of experience. The specialist will work with Operations Managers, Area Managers, and associates to enhance the long-term capabilities of their assigned area.

Key Responsibilities

Execute all standard trainer tasks as outlined on the Trainer Standard Work Checklist.
Deliver network standard technical training.
Partner with Operations Leaders to evaluate and improve training processes within work areas.
Directly coach associates to improve job performance.
Manage training compliance to ensure accurate training records are correctly housed.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, enabling effective interaction with groups and individuals, and the ability to give and receive feedback constructively. They should be goal-oriented, capable of meeting time commitments and deadlines, and able to provide insights to area managers. This role requires a focus on supporting the success of others, maintaining a customer-obsessed approach, and demonstrating a positive, proactive demeanor.

Performance and Development

The specialist will measure associate performance across Safety, Quality, and Productivity. This includes applying learning tools to improve operational metrics, enhancing associates' job-related skills, and developing, maintaining, and applying learning tools such as methods, checklists, and skill-building agreements to foster associate development. The role also assists in driving the success of both peak and non-peak training plans.
