The Opportunity

Ma'aden is seeking a Legal Counsel, Associate to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role offers an opportunity to contribute to the company's growth objectives and play a part in the development of the mining sector within the Kingdom.

Role Purpose

The Legal Counsel, Associate is responsible for providing legal advice and support specifically to the Aluminum division of the organization. Reporting directly to the General Counsel, this position involves assisting with a range of legal matters, including contract review, regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and providing general counsel on business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
• Develop and implement legal strategies and business plans to ensure the achievement of objectives and goals.
• Formulate and communicate legal policies and procedures across Ma'aden to safeguard compliance and ensure alignment with the overall corporate business plan.
• Provide regular and ad hoc legal consultation and advisory services, ensuring adherence to established standards and guidelines.
• Assist with the development and implementation of corporate policies and procedures.
• Stay informed on relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices.

Required Experience

Candidates for this role should possess between 5 to 10 years of relevant legal experience.

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
