About the Role

BEC Arabia is seeking a Logistics Lead to manage project logistics operations in Riyadh. This full-time position requires 8 to 12 years of experience in managing complex logistics for large-scale construction projects.

Role Overview

The Logistics Lead will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project logistics to ensure the smooth execution of construction activities. This includes the management of heavy equipment movement, site deliveries, material handling, transportation coordination, and equipment mobilization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage comprehensive site logistics plans, including equipment and material movement strategies.
• Coordinate the mobilization, demobilization, and precise positioning of heavy equipment across project sites.
• Oversee the movement of various construction machinery, such as cranes, loaders, excavators, and forklifts.
• Liaise effectively with PMV (Plant, Machinery, and Vehicles) departments, construction teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Plan delivery schedules, taking into account site access limitations, traffic management protocols, and operational work constraints.
• Monitor the availability and movement of heavy equipment throughout all project areas.
• Secure necessary permits, approvals, and access arrangements for oversized and heavy loads.
• Manage laydown areas, storage zones, and the overall flow of materials on site.
• Ensure strict compliance with all project logistics and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements.
• Prepare detailed logistics reports, maintain tracking records, and provide daily operational updates.
• Support lifting operations and heavy equipment activities by coordinating all necessary site requirements.

Required Experience and Qualifications

• A minimum of 8 to 12 years of experience specifically managing logistics operations on mega construction projects.
• Demonstrated strong experience with heavy equipment, crane operations, and PMV coordination.
• Proven experience in managing logistics for large-scale and high-density construction sites.
• Previous experience on Saudi mega projects, PIF, or Giga projects is preferred.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills with contractors, suppliers, and project teams.
