About the Loss Prevention Specialist Role

Amazon Saudi Arabia (ex-Souq) is seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Loss Prevention Specialist to join our operations network. This full-time position is based in Riyadh and Jeddah. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the security of our operational sites across the end-to-end supply chain, protecting our people, and preventing loss to maintain operational continuity.

Role Overview and Context

As a Loss Prevention Specialist, you will be part of a dedicated team providing security as a service to various business units within a defined geographical area. Your work will directly contribute to strengthening Amazon's brand by effectively protecting against relevant threats and managing security and loss prevention risks. The Global Security Operations organization aims to prevent security and loss prevention-related risks and vulnerabilities, intervene in incidents to minimize impact, and investigate root causes to prevent recurrence.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular physical security audits of operational sites.
• Investigate policy violations, security-related incidents, and loss events.
• Collect information through system monitoring, data analysis, and interviews to identify process vulnerabilities.
• Contribute to the development of measures to mitigate identified vulnerabilities.
• Audit and monitor the health status of security systems, ensuring their functionality in collaboration with subject matter experts and external suppliers.
• Interact daily with external security service providers to ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Serve as a point of contact for internal and external departments, including legal, HR, security providers, and local law enforcement.
• Deliver loss prevention-related education and awareness programs to other teams.
• Liaise with various stakeholders on policy and procedure across all management levels.
• Support the resilience of business operations by contributing to emergency and crisis planning.
• Coordinate risk management measures with local management and external parties, such as law enforcement agencies.
• Ensure assigned sites comply with Amazon's global security standards.
