About the Role

Afaq - Warehouse Branch is seeking a Maintenance Engineer / Facilities Supervisor, Reliability Maintenance Engineering to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on ensuring adherence to safety regulations, timely and high-standard preventative maintenance, and achieving high levels of equipment availability through continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Prioritize health and safety best practices in all work, ensuring compliance with all health and safety standards and regulations.
Develop preventive and predictive maintenance programs for FC assets, including material handling and automation systems.
Manage daily engineering and soft services, including housekeeping and premises upkeep.
Oversee EHS and statutory compliance for the FC, including waste management and hazardous waste management as per bylaws, and ensure timely renewal of licenses.
Oversee day-to-day facility operations, including conveyor system maintenance, and supervise maintenance work and sub-contractors.
Ensure the implementation of facility systems checks through a computerized maintenance management system.
Provide technical guidance for MHE and BB maintenance.
Support technicians by motivating, providing knowledge, and hands-on experience.

Required Experience and Skills

Experience in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting relay logic, ladder diagrams, controls components, sensors & scanners, motor starters, relays, limit switches, electronic sensors, servo drives, frequency inverters, linear drives, sorters, and mechanical components (rolls, bearings, belts).
Ability to act as an ambassador for safety within the team and promote safe working practices across the site.
Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships across all levels of the organization.
Capability to provide constructive feedback to enhance individual performance.
Ability to prioritize and manage resources effectively under high-pressure conditions.

Work Environment

This role involves working a non-traditional shift pattern, which may include nights and weekends, to support continuous operations at the warehouse facility.
