About the Role

Amazon Saudi Arabia is seeking a Maintenance Engineer / Facilities Supervisor, Reliability Maintenance Engineering, to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role focuses on ensuring adherence to safety regulations and policies, timely and high-standard preventative maintenance, and achieving high levels of equipment availability through continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Prioritize health and safety best practices in all work, ensuring compliance with all health and safety standards and regulations.
Develop preventive and predictive maintenance for Fulfillment Center (FC) assets, including material handling and automation systems.
Act as a safety ambassador within the team and promote safe working practices across the site.
Manage day-to-day engineering and soft services, including housekeeping and premises upkeep.
Manage Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) and statutory compliance for the FC, including waste management and hazardous waste management as per bylaws, and timely renewal of licenses.
Oversee day-to-day facility operations, including conveyor system maintenance.
Supervise maintenance work and sub-contractors.
Ensure the implementation of facility systems checks through a computerized maintenance management system.
Provide technical guidance for Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and Building & Beyond (BB) maintenance.
Support technicians by motivating, providing knowledge, and hands-on experience.
Develop and maintain effective working relationships across all levels of the organization.
Provide constructive feedback to enhance individual performance.
Prioritize and manage resources effectively under high-pressure situations.

Required Experience and Skills

Experience in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting any of the following: relay logic, ladder diagrams, controls components, sensors & scanners, motor starters, relays, limit switches, electronic sensors, servo drives, frequency inverters, linear drives, sorters, and mechanical components (rolls, bearings, belts).
