The Role: Manager Policies and Processes

Based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, the Manager Policies and Processes is a full-time role responsible for the development and maintenance of standardized procurement policies and processes. This position is critical for enhancing efficiency, ensuring compliance, and aligning procurement activities with the organization's overarching goals. The role involves establishing governance structures, leading process improvement initiatives, and supporting strategic decision-making through data-driven insights.

Policy and Process Development

• Assist in the creation, review, and standardization of procurement policies, procedures, and processes to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
• Help establish governance frameworks for policy approval, updates, and enforcement across the organization.
• Identify and address gaps in existing processes by leveraging data analytics and industry best practices.
• Utilize data insights to pinpoint areas for process improvement and recommend innovative solutions.
• Monitor the impact of policy and process changes on operational efficiency and compliance metrics.

Compliance and Governance

• Support the completion of internal and external audits and reviews to ensure adherence to established policies and processes.
• Drive the effective implementation of standardized policies through clear communication strategies and targeted training programs.
• Collaborate with various internal teams to ensure consistent policy compliance and alignment with organizational objectives.

Team Collaboration and Training

• Work closely with Learning & Development teams to design and deliver comprehensive training programs on new and updated standardized policies and processes.
• Oversee the effective communication, implementation, and training on new policies and processes across the organization.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team responsible for policy and process management.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess 5-10 years of relevant professional experience. This role requires a professional with a strong understanding of procurement compliance, governance frameworks, and process improvement methodologies. Demonstrated ability to leverage data analytics, collaborate with diverse teams, and effectively communicate complex policies is essential for success in this position.
