Trivandi, founded in 2013, provides advisory, design, and delivery services for major events, venues, destinations, and sports organizations. With over 100 specialists across offices in London, Dubai, and Riyadh, Trivandi has delivered over 260 projects in 26 countries. The Riyadh office supports Saudi Vision 2030, working with government entities, giga-projects, and rights holders across the Kingdom. We are seeking a Manager, Strategy & Commercial Advisory to join our team in Riyadh on a full-time basis, with an initial focus on integrated planning for a major international event.

Strategy & Commercial Advisory Services

Our Strategy & Commercial Advisory business unit offers consultancy services to venues, events, and sports organizations, supporting Vision 2030 and the Quality of Life Program in Saudi Arabia. This includes mega-event hosting, venue legacy planning, and the development and commercialization of the Saudi sports ecosystem. Our service offerings encompass:

• Venues: Strategic, economic, and financial advice on venue development and operation, including market analysis, feasibility studies, economic impact assessments, and operator procurement.
• Events: Advisory services across the event lifecycle, from bidding to evaluation and legacy, covering event strategy, impact assessment, bid support, and hosting readiness.
• Sports: Support for federations, leagues, and clubs in strategy, policy development, funding, operational design, commercial strategy, and club privatization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead assigned integrated planning workstreams, translating event objectives into coordinated functional plans with agreed milestones, owners, assumptions, and dependencies.
• Collaborate with functional leads to address planning gaps, align interfaces, and resolve conflicting requirements.
• Facilitate planning workshops and maintain records of actions, decisions, risks, and issues.
• Develop governance and reporting arrangements to track progress and identify necessary decisions.
• Support readiness planning by agreeing on evidence requirements and coordinating corrective actions.
• Contribute to venue operating models, business planning, feasibility assessments, and benchmarking.
• Contribute to strategy, governance, and commercial advisory assignments across sport as required.
• Manage day-to-day relationships with assigned client stakeholders in English and Arabic.
• Lead Arabic-language client deliverables and presentations, ensuring local expectations are met.
• Manage assigned consulting workstreams, including scope, workplans, resourcing, budgets, and deliverable quality.
• Support proposals, expressions of interest, and RFP responses.
• Drive innovation and entrepreneurial thinking within the team, identifying new growth opportunities.
• Foster collaboration across Trivandi’s global offices and mentor junior team members.
• Support the development of Saudi talent in line with localization commitments.
• Lead structured research and analysis to assess options and develop practical recommendations.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience.
• Practical mega-event planning experience combined with strong strategy and advisory skills.
• Experience with Expo events is strongly preferred.
• Excellent team leadership skills with an open, friendly, and supportive style.
• Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
• Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively in writing and presentations, adapting messages to different audiences.
• Resilient, detail-oriented, creative, and resourceful.
• Capable of handling shifting demands and self-motivated.

Work Environment and Location

This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role may require work at client locations, travel within the Kingdom, and international travel to meet project needs.
