About the Role

Hays is partnering with a prestigious financial advisory firm to identify a high-calibre M&A Associate for their office in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position designed for driven professionals with a proven track record of delivering complex transactions from origination through to close.

Role Overview

The M&A Associate will play an integral role throughout the full lifecycle of M&A mandates. This position involves direct collaboration with senior bankers and clients, taking ownership of analytical workstreams, leading financial models, and presenting recommendations at the highest level. It is a client-facing, execution-driven role suited for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, deal-intensive environment, working on significant transactions within the MENA region.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and execute M&A mandates across their full lifecycle.
• Lead financial modelling and valuation work for live transactions.
• Prepare and present pitchbooks, information memoranda, management presentations, and board materials.
• Coordinate legal, technical, and financial due diligence workstreams with external advisors.
• Manage client relationships, data rooms, and counterparty interactions throughout live processes.
• Apply AI-powered tools and data analytics to enhance research quality and workflow efficiency.

Qualifications and Experience

• 3–5 years of investment banking experience gained at a tier 1 bulge bracket or elite boutique firm.
• Full deal lifecycle experience across both buy-side and sell-side mandates.
• Excellent academic record from a top university.
• An MBA or CFA qualification is preferred.

Location and Application
