About the Role

Vrinda Global is seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer/Lead Data Centre to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position focuses on supporting the design and engineering of Data Centre projects, with a strong emphasis on mechanical systems.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, coordinating, reviewing, and delivering mechanical engineering designs. The role requires a strong focus on HVAC, cooling systems, ventilation, and other associated mechanical systems within Data Centre environments.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and/or execute mechanical design activities for Data Centre projects.
Develop and review HVAC and mechanical system designs, including calculations, layouts, schematics, and technical specifications.
Prepare and/or review design calculations, equipment sizing, heat-load calculations, pressure-drop calculations, and equipment schedules.
Review engineering drawings, layouts, P&IDs, schematics, and equipment specifications.
Coordinate mechanical designs with other disciplines such as Electrical, Civil/Structural, Fire & Life Safety, and BMS.
Ensure designs comply with applicable Indian/international codes, project specifications, and Data Centre design standards.
Monitor design deliverables to ensure completion within agreed quality, cost, and schedule requirements.

Required Qualifications and Experience

5-10 years of experience in mechanical design.
Strong experience in HVAC and mechanical building services design.
Experience working on Data Centre, mission-critical, or critical infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
