About the Opportunity

Rekrute is seeking a highly qualified Mechanical Engineer specialized in sports facilities to join a project team in Riyadh. This full-time role is central to the construction of major sports infrastructure, including stadiums, training centers, and sports complexes. The successful candidate will be responsible for the meticulous supervision and coordination of all mechanical installations, ensuring adherence to project specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Reviewing mechanical plans, calculations, and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Supervising the installation and commissioning of HVAC, plumbing, drainage, irrigation, and fire protection systems.
• Conducting thorough checks of materials, equipment, and shop drawings against project requirements.
• Controlling the quality of mechanical installations directly on the construction site.
• Coordinating effectively with architectural, structural, and electrical engineering teams.
• Following up on system tests, commissioning procedures, and the resolution of any identified snags.
• Ensuring strict compliance with relevant Saudi building codes and FIFA technical requirements.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 7 to 15 years of professional experience in mechanical engineering.
• Demonstrated experience in at least one major stadium, training center, or sports complex project.
• Strong technical coordination skills, with a proven ability to manage complex interfaces.

This position plays a critical role in ensuring that all mechanical systems are installed to the highest standards, meeting both local regulatory requirements and international sports facility guidelines.
