About Squadio and the Opportunity

Squadio is a global remote-first IT service provider, headquartered in Riyadh, KSA, with delivery centers in Egypt and KSA. Founded in 2011 in Riyadh, Squadio (previously Ibtikar technologies) has successfully evolved its model to support startups and companies in hiring and managing their own engineering teams remotely. We are seeking a Media Buyer to join our team in Riyadh, KSA, in a full-time capacity.

The Media Buyer Role

The Media Buyer is an advertising professional responsible for leading advertising efforts, negotiating and purchasing ad space and time to effectively reach target audiences. This role involves analyzing target demographics, developing media buying strategies, negotiating rates with media outlets, and optimizing budgets to maximize ad exposure.

Key Responsibilities

• Help identify target audiences and plan media campaigns.
• Create and manage paid advertisements.
• Analyze data and reports to inform strategy.
• Monitor budget allocation and manage costs effectively.
• Provide weekly performance reports for each campaign across all platforms.
• Optimize plans and budgets according to the best media mix.
• Experiment with new platforms and channels to expand reach.
• Monitor costs and return on investment (ROI) for all campaigns.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience of not less than 3 years as a Media Buyer or in a similar role.
• Experience in digital media is preferred.
• Familiarity with the Saudi advertising market, including media-buying, planning, and research practices.

Required Skills and Attributes

• Working knowledge of media analytics software (*, comScore).
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Demonstrated attention to detail.
• Developed critical thinking skills.

Work Environment and Location

This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Riyadh Province, KSA. The Media Buyer will operate within Squadio's established global remote-first framework, collaborating with distributed teams across various regions to achieve advertising objectives.
