The Role of Merchant Acquisition Specialist

Waffarha is seeking a Merchant Acquisition Specialist to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of experience. The specialist will be instrumental in expanding Waffarha's merchant network and fostering positive relationships to maximize profit for the platform.

Key Responsibilities

Acquire new merchants for Waffarha and maintain positive relationships with the objective of maximizing profit.
Source and develop a pool of small to medium-sized merchants for sign-up and ensure active engagement with existing partners.
Create opportunities and initiate business with new merchants from various potential sources, including social media platforms, professional connections, and direct visits.
Review the discount plans offered by merchants on other platforms and from similar suppliers.
Create and negotiate competitive deals with merchants that align with customer needs and aim to maximize profits.
Analyze and test the offers received from merchants.
Verify all documentation received from merchants regarding their agreements with Waffarha.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that all merchant needs are understood and addressed.
Update existing offers with current merchants to maintain relevance and appeal.
Act as a mediator between merchants and the internal cross-functional team to address merchant desires and respond to their concerns.

Required Qualifications

Valid Driving License.
Basic knowledge of Windows Excel and Word.
Experience: 0-1 years.

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working within a dynamic environment focused on business development and relationship management.
