About the Role

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) is seeking a Networking Presales Consultant to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time, hybrid role requires an average of two days per week in an HPE office. As a Consulting Systems Engineer, you will serve as a subject matter expert, providing technical support and leadership in developing and delivering technology solutions that address customer business needs. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

You will build and maintain strong customer relationships, offering deep product and technology-specific expertise during deal pursuits, particularly aligned with specific product lines such as Mobility, Security, or Branch solutions. This role involves applying advanced subject matter knowledge to resolve complex business issues, contributing to HPE products, solutions, or services, and exercising significant independent judgment to achieve objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge of the unstructured data market, technology, and the HPE Networking portfolio to articulate proposals and ensure customer business and technical needs are met.
• Track industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings, leveraging this insight within the customer’s technical environment.
• Design network solutions aligned with customer business requirements, utilizing expertise and understanding of the customer's technical landscape.
• Participate in deep-dive discussions to articulate value propositions, define key differentiators, and draft high-level solution designs.
• Deliver optimal results by balancing costs, scope, scale, and benefits to provide superior value.

Business Development and Industry Contribution

• Proactively contribute to pipeline building by identifying opportunities such as enhancements, unmet needs, up-selling, and cross-selling within the assigned territory.
• Contribute to industry developments through content support, presentations, demonstrations, and booth support at conferences and industry events, including utilizing social media.
• Participate in the account's business planning processes.

Collaboration and Professional Development

• Collaborate proactively with account team leadership (HPE and Partners) to develop and communicate key value propositions, negotiation points, and identify overlooked opportunities.
• Document ongoing work activities and tasks throughout the sales cycle using specific tools and resources, sharing best practices with peers and partners.
• Develop and nurture professional working relationships with customer technical teams and key executives, based on an understanding of the customer’s ecosystem, business needs, and how HPE delivers value.
• Proactively share knowledge with peers and support the development of more junior team members, potentially leading and mentoring others.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A first-level university technical degree or equivalent technical qualifications. An advanced degree in technology is preferred.
• Technical experience in IT with a focus on networking solutions.
• Relevant industry certifications, both knowledge-based and experience-based, are strongly preferred.

Work Arrangement

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role operates on a hybrid model, requiring an average of two days per week to be worked from an HPE office.
