About the Opportunity

Al-Khaleej Computers & Electronic Systems is seeking an Oracle Technical Consultant to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves providing specialized technical expertise to a major banking client, focusing on Oracle ERP and Business Intelligence solutions. We are looking for a professional with 5-10 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity.

Role Purpose and Scope

The Oracle Technical Consultant will be responsible for providing comprehensive technical coverage across all Oracle ERP modules. This position also entails acting as a dedicated Payment HUB Consultant and an Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) Consultant, delivering specialized support and deployment services for critical banking operations within the client's environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploying Change Requests (CRs) related to new reports or system enhancements.
• Performing Oracle Business Intelligence (OBI) Administrator tasks, including starting and shutting down services, administering users (defining new users, removing moved users), and providing user-related reports.
• Closely monitoring the performance of ETLs and managing Batch dependencies for Oracle EBS and Data Warehouse (DWH) ETL jobs.
• Troubleshooting reported issues from CAD concerning Financial Accounting Hub (FAH) prevailing reconciliation reports adapted using OBI Dashboards/Reports.
• Stopping and initiating services for quarterly Operating System (OS) batching processes.
• Deploying approved OBI Reports and Dashboards as per Business Technology Group (BTG) release announcements.
• Providing technical support for integrations with both internal and external platforms.

Required Technical Expertise

• Comprehensive technical understanding of Oracle ERP modules.
• Proficiency as a Payment HUB Consultant.
• Expertise as an OBIEE Consultant, including Oracle Business Intelligence Publisher (OBI).
• Knowledge of appsDBA roles, particularly concerning Oracle Access Manager (OAM) and Single Sign-On (SSO), and the ability to perform health checks.

Candidate Profile

We are seeking a full-time professional with 5 to 10 years of experience in Oracle technical consulting roles. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the technical aspects of ERP systems and business intelligence, coupled with practical experience in a banking or financial services environment.

Work Location

This position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and will involve working directly with our client, a prominent bank in the region, on a full-time basis.
