PHYSICAL THERAPY RESIDENT ADMIN

About the Role

King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Center (KFSH) in Riyadh is seeking a Physical Therapy Resident Admin to join its team. This full-time position involves planning and administering physical therapy programs to patients, focusing on restoring function, relieving pain, and preventing disability. The role requires 0-1 years of experience and is integral to patient rehabilitation within the scope of the physical therapy program.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients to determine their level of function.
• Establish treatment goals and administer appropriate physical therapy procedures.
• Observe unusual reactions, document treatments and patient progress, and ensure the supervisor is informed of relevant patient information.
• Liaise with physicians regarding patient progress and modify treatment goals as needed.
• Teach and demonstrate physical therapy programs to patients and family members, and provide information about therapy procedures to nurses and new employees.
• Assist Senior Physical Therapists with protocol development in assigned areas.
• Participate in conferences with physicians, nurses, and allied medical personnel concerning physical, emotional, and socio-economic problems affecting patient health and welfare.
• Report equipment maintenance or repair needs to the Service Supervisor.
• Participate in relevant committees (*, morbidity/mortality, patient safety, quality, infection control, medication safety, research), as applicable.

Qualifications and Experience

• 0-1 years of experience in physical therapy.
• Ability to plan and administer physical therapy programs effectively.
• Strong assessment and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient, family, and team interaction.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, within the King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Center. The role involves working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care.
