PMCM Planning Manager

About the Role

Parsons Corporation is seeking a PMCM Planning Manager to join their team in Riyadh, Riyadh. This full-time role involves managing program-wide project control and scheduling activities, maintaining the Program Master Schedule, and developing capabilities for program planning, scheduling, analysis, reporting, and progress evaluation. The position requires 5-10 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic planning initiatives to support company objectives.
• Provide guidance and specialized assistance to projects for resolving complex planning problems.
• Lead and manage the planning team, including guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
• Interface with clients and PMCM consultants, attending regular meetings and providing statistical reports.
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure alignment of planning activities with overall business goals.
• Analyze market trends, industry developments, and internal data to inform planning decisions.
• Prepare and present detailed reports on planning activities, progress, and outcomes to senior management.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with planning processes.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Continuously improve planning processes and methodologies.
• Support and assess the impact of design/construction changes and schedule slippages.
• Support and perform integration of scope, cost, and schedule within the WBS, ensuring accurate mapping.
• Lead the preparation and establishment of effective schedule management plans and procedures, monitoring and improving reporting and control tools.
• Lead the development and maintenance of the program-wide integrated schedule.
• Assist in developing and regularly updating the program’s procurement strategy and its associated phasing timelines.
• Participate in the development of key milestone dates and schedule requirements in RFPs for design consultants and construction contractors.
• Participate in the review and response to bidders’ queries during tender periods.
• Participate in weekly and monthly progress meetings with contractors, supervision consultants, and the client.
• Create statistical reports for management on a recurring or ad-hoc basis.
• Perform other responsibilities as appropriate to the position.

Reporting and Collaboration

This position reports directly to the Senior Planning Manager. The Planning Manager will interface with various stakeholders including the Client, Project Director, Contracts Managers, Design and Engineering team, Construction Directors, and PMCM Consultants. The role also involves oversight of all construction scheduling activities.

Experience Requirements

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in project control, scheduling, and planning management within a program environment.
