About the Role

AIQU is seeking a Penetration Tester to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is offered on a yearly extendable contract basis and requires onsite presence in Riyadh. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and assessing security vulnerabilities to enhance the organization's cybersecurity posture.

Key Responsibilities

Identify, validate, and document security vulnerabilities within systems and applications.
Assess security weaknesses through controlled exploitation techniques.
Prepare detailed penetration testing reports, including risk ratings, technical evidence, business impact, and comprehensive remediation recommendations.
Conduct retesting activities post-remediation to validate the effectiveness of corrective actions.
Support vulnerability assessment and other security testing activities.
Provide recommendations to strengthen existing security controls and reduce exposure to cyber threats.
Link identified vulnerabilities and penetration testing findings with the organization’s Cybersecurity Risk Register.
Assess the risk impact of identified vulnerabilities and support the classification of findings based on likelihood, impact, and overall risk level.
Coordinate with relevant teams to follow up on risk treatment plans, remediation actions, and closure status of identified issues.
Support risk owners in understanding technical findings, associated risks, and required mitigation actions.
Track open findings and ensure proper documentation of remediation, risk acceptance, or compensating controls.
Provide technical input to support cybersecurity risk management activities and contribute to improving the organization’s overall security posture.

Qualifications and Experience

A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in penetration testing or a related cybersecurity field.
Proven ability to identify, validate, and document security vulnerabilities effectively.
Experience in preparing detailed reports with clear remediation recommendations.
