About the Opportunity

شركة النهدي الطبية is seeking a Pharmacist to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role is ideal for individuals with 0-1 years of experience, focusing on providing essential healthcare advice and managing pharmacy operations to ensure high standards of customer service and operational efficiency.

Role Overview

The Pharmacist provides general healthcare advice, dispenses prescription and non-prescription medication, and offers non-pharma products to customers. This role also involves supervising the retail store team and overseeing daily operations to consistently achieve key sales targets, maintain high customer satisfaction levels, and ensure continuous operational readiness.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Care & Dispensing: Process and dispense prescription medications, offering detailed consultations on dosage, storage, side effects, and drug interactions to appropriately inform and educate customers.
• Provide advice and dispense over-the-counter medications for common illnesses, including symptom assessment and recommendations for appropriate action to ensure customer health and safety.
• Educate customers on the proper handling and use of medical equipment designed for home use, providing necessary information and reference sources.
• Identify and pursue upsell and cross-sell opportunities by understanding customer needs and recommending suitable products to maximize satisfaction and achieve targets.
• Store Operations & Management: Ensure overall store readiness, including staff appearance and store conditions, in compliance with internal guidelines for effective daily operations and a professional environment.
• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all store-level duties, such as loyalty program registration, to ensure individual performance meets established standards.
• Monitor key sales performance targets and customer satisfaction levels at the store level through direct observation and regular reporting.
• Manage payment processing and reconciliations, including handling the cash register and coordinating with the Finance team, to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal and internal financial processes.
• Oversee operational and administrative tasks, including workflow monitoring, team scheduling and attendance, order verification, stock management (ordering, returns), inventory management, expense recording, price updates, and promotion execution, to ensure compliance with Operational Excellence guidelines.
• Team Supervision & Development: Supervise retail store staff, providing development opportunities through performance management activities, corrective actions, regular conversations, and access to formal and informal development options to maximize performance.
• Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure strict compliance with Health & Safety policies, procedures, and operational standards at the store level, adhering to local legal requirements and internal policies through regular monitoring.
• Professional Development: Continuously update pharmacological knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.

Required Experience

Candidates for the Pharmacist role should possess 0-1 years of relevant experience. A foundational understanding of pharmaceutical practices and patient care is essential for success in this position.
