BEC Arabia is seeking a skilled Procurement - Senior Civil Engineer to join its dedicated team in Riyadh. This full-time position is integral to managing procurement activities for various civil engineering projects, contributing directly to the successful execution and timely delivery of our initiatives.

Role Overview and Contribution

The successful candidate will play a critical role within the procurement department, with a specific focus on civil engineering requirements. This involves the strategic management of the supply chain for civil materials, subcontracted works, and related services. The position ensures efficient acquisition processes, adherence to project specifications, and alignment with overall project timelines, requiring a proactive approach to vendor relations and meticulous attention to detail in both technical and commercial evaluations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage comprehensive procurement activities for civil materials, subcontract works, finishing packages, and structural items.
• Review and analyze technical specifications to ensure compliance and quality in all procured items and services.
• Prepare accurate and timely material requisitions based on project demands and schedules.
• Evaluate vendor offers thoroughly, considering both technical compliance and commercial terms to ensure best value.
• Coordinate technical approvals with relevant internal departments and external stakeholders.
• Negotiate effectively with suppliers to secure favorable terms, conditions, and pricing.
• Follow up diligently on delivery schedules to ensure materials and services are provided in support of project timelines and operational continuity.

Required Experience

Candidates for this role must possess substantial professional experience, with a proven track record of 5 to 10 years in procurement, specifically within civil engineering projects. This experience should encompass the full spectrum of procurement processes, from initial requisition to final delivery and ongoing vendor management.
