About the Role: Programme Manager – ISE

BAE Systems Saudi Arabia is seeking a Programme Manager – ISE to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role requires 2-5 years of experience and offers a competitive salary. The Programme Manager will be responsible for overseeing one or more large projects or a single large programme comprising multiple projects within International Systems Engineering (ISE).

Role Purpose and Context

International Systems Engineering (ISE) delivers IT capabilities and services both onsite and centrally to all projects and programmes within BAE Systems Saudi Arabia, as well as to partner companies such as BAE Systems Saudi Development and Training and SMSCMC. ISE is committed to supporting the Saudi Arabian National Agenda, including Saudisation and the development of Saudi National capabilities through the growth of Saudi National Partner Companies. The Programme Manager ensures the delivery of all controlled contracts within agreed scope, time, cost, and quality constraints. This role may also include departmental responsibilities, such as the development and maintenance of the departmental IBP.

Key Responsibilities

Contribute directly to Program Management policies, roadmaps, guidelines, and standards.
Collaborate with the Program Management Authority (PMA) to ensure governance and approval for proposals and plans.
Represent ISE in wider BAE Systems and Kingdom Partner Companies project deliveries.
Make decisions that advance ISE and customer strategic objectives.
Ensure the success of Project and Programme Management capabilities.
Maintain strong working relationships and negotiate with senior customer and supplier representatives.
Coordinate project/programme reporting via CSR to the business.
Manage one or more small teams and participate in talent identification and recruitment.
Lead the development and communication of corporate governance policies for information.
Define, implement, and review the organisation’s portfolio management framework.
Maintain relationships with key stakeholders including DCIT Commander, Wing Commanders CITW, Programme Office officers and advisors, and Senior BAE Systems Programme leads.

Qualifications and Experience

Extensive experience in IT Services or IT Solutions, with at least 4 years in a managerial role.
Proven ability to design and manage the implementation of software architecture.
Demonstrated ability to manage projects.
Advanced knowledge of project scheduling tools, such as MS Project.
Advanced Project Management qualification (*, APMQ, Prince).
In-depth understanding and experience of the entire project lifecycle.
Significant experience in Risk and Opportunity Management, Cost and Budget Management, and Resource Management at a programme/departmental level.
Experience with successful execution of all phases of large, multi-year capture and delivery project efforts.
In-depth understanding of supply chain management and project commercial activities.
