Project Manager Role Overview

WSP is seeking an experienced Project Manager (Saudi National) to lead the successful delivery of significant road, transport infrastructure, and utility projects in Riyadh. This full-time role requires a professional with a strong background in managing projects from the consultancy or client representative side, focusing on complex infrastructure programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of road, transport infrastructure, and utility projects.
• Act as the primary point of contact between clients, consultants, authorities, and project stakeholders.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risk, and quality objectives.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary consultant teams to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
• Oversee consultant performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
• Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports for senior stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate project risks while implementing effective corrective actions.
• Facilitate engagement with relevant government authorities and utility providers.
• Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with local regulations, standards, and client requirements.
• Support strategic decision-making through effective project governance and stakeholder management.

Essential Experience

• Minimum of 10+ years of experience in project management, specifically within road, transport infrastructure, and utility projects.
• Demonstrated experience working for engineering consultancies, project management consultancies, or as a client representative on major infrastructure programs.
• Proven experience managing consultant-led infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia or the GCC.
• Strong background in managing transportation, roads, highways, utility corridors, and infrastructure programs.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Demonstrated success in client-facing project leadership roles.
• Familiarity with Saudi Arabian infrastructure projects and regulatory environments.
• Ability to lead multiple stakeholders while maintaining schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
• Capacity to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and project delivery activities across complex infrastructure programs.

Project Focus and Exclusions

This role is specifically designed for professionals with direct experience in roads, highways, transportation networks, utilities, and related infrastructure projects. Candidates with predominantly building, architectural, contractor execution, or design-focused backgrounds will not be considered, as the emphasis is on a strong consultancy background rather than contractor-led delivery.
