Its Control Department focuses on Lighting Control and Audio-Visual (AV) Systems Integration, providing comprehensive services from design and supply to programming, testing, and commissioning for various architectural, commercial, and entertainment projects.

The Role of Project Engineer – Lighting Control & A/V Systems

ViaLighting is seeking a Project Engineer to manage the execution, installation, programming, and commissioning of Lighting Control and A/V Integration systems. This full-time role, based in Riyadh, requires 2-5 years of experience. The Project Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in adherence to technical standards and quality expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed riser diagrams, layouts, panel/rack fabrication drawings, and wiring schematics using AutoCAD.
• Supervise all site activities, including installation and system integration works.
• Place material orders and confirm delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Coordinate with procurement and logistics to ensure on-time material delivery.
• Issue Material Inspection Requests (MIR) and Work Inspection Requests (WIR) for all delivered and installed items.
• Monitor project timelines, update schedules, and prepare regular progress reports.
• Handle site modifications, scope adjustments, and material quantity changes.
• Program, configure, and test control systems (KNX, DALI, DMX, Art-Net, AV).
• Conduct system commissioning, troubleshooting, and optimization.
• Prepare as-built drawings, test reports, and commissioning documentation.
• Support client training and system handover, and provide after-sales technical support as required.

Required Experience and Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in project engineering, specifically with lighting control and A/V integration systems.
• Demonstrated ability to manage project execution from installation through commissioning.
• Proficiency in preparing technical drawings and documentation.
• Experience with control system programming and troubleshooting.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves site supervision and coordination with various stakeholders to ensure project success.
