About the Role

Dar Al Riyadh Consultants is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves managing all aspects of quantity surveying for large-scale projects, ensuring accuracy in measurements, cost estimates, and financial tracking.

Key Responsibilities

Measure completed works and verify contractor interim payment applications.
Review Bills of Quantities (BOQs), variations, quotations, and rate build-ups.
Conduct site measurements and maintain accurate quantity records.
Prepare cost estimates, commercial comparisons, and budget updates.
Maintain payment, variation, procurement, and cost-tracking registers.
Support claims assessment, cash-flow forecasting, and final-account preparation.
Coordinate measurements and commercial information with discipline engineers.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Construction Economics.
Minimum of 10 years of quantity surveying experience.
Demonstrated experience on large-scale mixed-use residential and commercial projects.
Relevant professional registration or membership is preferred.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of BOQs, measurement standards, interim payments, variations, and rate analysis.
Proficiency in Excel and recognised quantity-surveying or cost-management software.
Strong numerical, analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, where the Quantity Surveyor will contribute to significant construction projects within a professional consulting environment.
