About Leshines and the Role

Leshines, a fast-growing global supply chain partner rooted in the manufacturing sector, manages end-to-end material flows for large-scale industrial and high-tech production facilities. As we expand our footprint across Asia, the Americas, and the Middle East, we are seeking a Raw Material Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role requires 5-10 years of experience and is critical for ensuring seamless raw material flow to production lines.

Role Purpose and Impact

This is a production-critical role where the specialist will take full ownership of raw material warehousing operations, ensuring that production lines maintain continuous operation. Unlike a finished-goods distribution center, success in this position is measured by achieving 100% inventory accuracy and providing on-time, in-full (OTIF) material kitting to support manufacturing schedules. The specialist will bridge the gap between suppliers, quality control, and production planning, managing the entire inbound-to-production lifecycle of raw materials.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the unloading, counting, and visual inspection of incoming raw materials against Purchase Orders (POs).
  • Coordinate closely with the Incoming Quality Control (IQC) team to manage non-conforming materials and expedite dispositions (Return to Vendor / Rework / Scrap).
  • Direct the warehouse team on systematic put-away, ensuring materials are assigned to optimal bin locations based on characteristics and storage requirements.
  • Lead daily cycle counting for all raw material SKUs to maintain a stringent target of 100% inventory accuracy.
  • Strictly enforce First-In-First-Out (FIFO) or First-Expired-First-Out (FEFO) protocols for materials with shelf-life.
  • Ensure full traceability of material batches through the WMS/ERP system for quality recall purposes.
  • Monitor slow-moving and obsolete raw materials, reporting exposure risks and coordinating with procurement for timely disposition.
  • Manage the material picking, kitting, and issuing process to deliver precise quantities to the production shop floor at the right time (Just-in-Time / Just-in-Sequence principles).
  • Handle the return of unused materials (scrap/rework) from the production line back into the warehouse system, ensuring seamless inventory reconciliation.
  • Lead daily handover meetings between shifts to communicate production priorities, material shortages, and operational challenges.
  • Spearhead training for new warehouse staff on standard operating procedures (SOPs), material handling equipment (MHE), and specific raw material preservation methods.
  • Act as the first point of contact for staff leave planning and backup scheduling to ensure 24/7 operational resilience.
  • Maintain real-time data integrity in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and interface with the ERP system (*, SAP/ORACLE) for accurate and timely inventory postings.
  • Schedule preventive maintenance (P/M) for material handling equipment (forklifts, reach trucks, etc.) and archive all maintenance documentation.
  • Own the safety culture, ensuring 100% compliance with company EHS policies and coordinating regular safety training, with emphasis on heavy-load handling.
  • Oversee the proper storage, segregation, and documentation of Hazardous Materials/Dangerous Goods (DG) and temperature/humidity-sensitive raw materials in accordance with regulations.
  • Lead immediate investigations and documentation of "near-misses" or accidents, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports (*, Inbound/Outbound volume, inventory aging, cycle count variance, and KPI performance) to the Department Head.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in raw material warehousing operations.
  • Proven ability to manage end-to-end material flows and ensure high inventory accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and experience interfacing with ERP systems (*, SAP/ORACLE).
  • Strong understanding of inventory control principles, including FIFO/FEFO and lot/batch traceability.
  • Experience with EHS compliance and the proper handling and storage of hazardous materials/dangerous goods.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to overseas plant sites (Saudi, Mexico, Brazil).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification in Lean/Six Sigma (Yellow/Green Belt).
  • Experience in setting up a new warehouse layout or managing system migration projects.
