About the Renewals Specialist Role at Cisco

Cisco is seeking a full-time Renewals Specialist to join the Collaboration Renewals Sales team in Riyadh. This role is part of the Software Recurring Revenue Sales organization, which focuses on driving profitable growth by managing the customer lifecycle. The team aims to deliver higher value and an efficient experience from Cisco solutions, ensuring relevant business outcomes for customers.

Role Purpose and Team Contribution

As a Renewals Specialist for the Collaboration portfolio, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth in renewals sales and ensuring a successful customer renewal experience. This involves sharing customer value propositions for Collaboration offers, addressing objections, adoption barriers, and competitive risks, while highlighting compelling migration and expansion options. The position requires close collaboration directly with customers, partners, and internal team members across sales, engineering, and marketing functions.

Core Responsibilities

• Build, develop, and execute a sales pipeline based on upcoming renewals for near-term growth, and manage the future-term pipeline to work proactively on key future renewals.
• Demonstrate strong sales competence and confidence when communicating the business benefits of Cisco's Collaboration Software to customers.
• Educate and engage partners and partner teams on the Collaboration Renewals strategy, driving market understanding and building business development opportunities.
• Utilize strong data analysis skills to support quote creation and close renewals opportunities for accounts.
• Lead and build sales opportunities, working closely with Cisco Partners, Collaboration Account Executives, and technical teams to develop a renewals strategy for key accounts.
• Use *********** and **** to track current and potential customer interactions and drive the progression of opportunities through the sales cycle.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of experience in sales, renewals, sales support, customer success, or account management.
• Experience working directly with customers and/or channel partners in a sales or renewal-related role.
• Experience using a CRM or sales tracking tool, such as ***********, to manage customer accounts, pipelines, or sales opportunities.
• Previous experience working with Salesforce and Gong.
• Experience with Cisco Install Base, Cisco software offers, or recurring revenue renewal cycles.
