About the Role

Almarai is seeking an experienced and certified SAP Functional Analyst to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role focuses on SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) solutions, requiring a professional with 5 to 10 years of experience, including a minimum of five years specifically in SAP planning solutions.

Role Purpose and Scope

The successful candidate will serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the strategic planning ecosystem, specifically SAP IBP. This position is responsible for the end-to-end configuration, ongoing maintenance, optimization, and governance of these critical systems. The role demands deep functional knowledge, robust technical integration skills, and the ability to drive continuous business process improvements.

Key Responsibilities in SAP IBP

• Lead the design and implementation of new planning processes, such as Demand Planning and Response Planning, within SAP IBP modules (Demand, S&OP, Inventory, Supply).
• Configure complex IBP elements, including advanced planning operators (Heuristics, Optimizers), planning level calculations, key figure derivations, and custom attributes.
• Oversee and manage the end-to-end data integration landscape using CPI-DS or Real-Time Integration (RTI) to ensure data quality, consistency, and adherence to performance SLAs.
• Proactively monitor and tune system performance, addressing issues related to planning runtimes, data loads, and Excel Add-In stability.

Support and System Management

• Provide Tier 2/Tier 3 expert support for complex system issues.
• Train junior team members and end-users on advanced system functionality and best practices.
• Manage testing cycles, including unit, integration, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), for all new releases and system patches.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of five years of hands-on experience in SAP planning solutions, with overall experience ranging from 5 to 10 years.
• Certified SAP IBP Functional Analyst.
• Demonstrated deep functional knowledge of SAP IBP.
• Strong technical integration skills.
