About the Role

Duncan & Ross is seeking an SAP Tax Technology Specialist to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves configuring ERP systems and developing monitoring tools to ensure accurate capture, calculation, reporting, and flagging of Zakat, VAT, and WHT data. The specialist will be responsible for enhancing tax compliance and data integrity within the ERP environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assess the current ERP setup for tax codes, GL mapping, and master data, then address gaps related to Zakat, VAT, and WHT.
Build or configure Zakat base tracking, calculation, and reporting functionalities within the ERP system.
Integrate tax checks into daily posting processes and monthly close procedures to maintain continuous data accuracy.
Develop the VAT/WHT validation and monitoring model, including return-to-GL reconciliation, sample tests, and exception logs.
Configure alerts to notify management of discrepancies and unusual patterns, such as rate mismatches, missing WHT on foreign payments, or significant spikes compared to prior months.
Design exportable, audit-ready reports in formats acceptable to ZATCA and external auditors.
Document the implemented solution and provide training to finance users, followed by a handover to SAR's IT and tax teams.

Required Experience and Qualifications

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in SAP tax technology. The role requires a strong understanding of ERP tax configuration and tax compliance processes.
