The Role: SAP Technical Specialist

Red Sea Global is seeking an SAP Technical Specialist to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position focuses on designing, configuring, and optimizing SAP SD processes to enable seamless order-to-cash operations and integrated supply chain workflows for trading and wholesale businesses. The specialist ensures accurate pricing, efficient order management, and robust system integrations while driving automation and process improvements. This role serves as a key link between business requirements and technical solutions, providing expert support, troubleshooting, and enhancements.

SAP SD Configuration and Optimization

• Support solution design and configuration of end-to-end SAP SD processes for goods and services, including Make-to-Stock, Make-to-Order, Third-Party Sales, Intercompany, and Intra-company transactions in trading and wholesale organizations.
• Set up pricing procedures, promotions, rebates, and billing plans for diverse business models.
• Implement and support standard and custom sales order types, delivery processing, and invoicing, including customer returns and full or partial rejections at delivery.
• Support designing interfaces for customer master data, pricing agreements, customer credit management, and payment processing, including customer advance.
• Collaborate and support solution design, process automation, and integration of B2B Marketplace, WMS, and other systems with SAP S/4HANA.
• Collaborate and support solution design and configuration of batch jobs, forward and backward scheduling based on material availability to automate delivery creation.
• Support solution design and configuration in collaboration with other functions for customer credit control, sales orders approval workflow, and output form design.

Project Management and Technical Support

• Support the end-to-end technical implementation of SAP SD projects, including configuration, customization, testing, and go-live phases.
• Support the solution design and implementation of system enhancements and upgrades to improve functionality and align with evolving business requirements.
• Provide advanced technical support for SAP SD issues, performing troubleshooting, and collaborating with cross-functional IT teams to address challenges.
• Conduct root-cause analysis to identify issues, implement corrective actions, and ensure system performance and stability within the SAP SD module.

Business Process Improvement and Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with various supply chain business functions such as sales, order management, purchasing, and logistics teams to streamline business processes.
• Identify and implement best practices within the SAP SD module to enhance supply chain efficiency and support continuous improvement.
• Engage with internal stakeholders to understand SAP SD requirements, address concerns, and propose solutions that align with business objectives.
• Coordinate with SAP vendors and third-party consultants for module implementations, upgrades, and ongoing technical support.
• Support and contribute to roadmap planning for future SAP enhancement and automation of order-to-cash and dependent processes.

Training, Documentation, and Compliance

• Develop comprehensive training materials and deliver end-user training on SAP SD functionalities to ensure effective knowledge transfer and system use.
• Create and maintain functional and technical documentation, including configuration guides, troubleshooting manuals, and process flow diagrams for business processes.
• Provide expert user support, addressing SD system issues, conducting training, and promoting effective utilization of applications.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and industry regulations, maintaining data security and integrity within SAP SD processes.

Required Experience

Candidates should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in SAP SD configuration, implementation, and support.
