The Role: Legal Specialist

alfanar is seeking a Legal Specialist to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role is designed for individuals with 0-1 years of experience, providing essential support to Legal Counsels. The Legal Specialist will contribute to various legal tasks, including conducting research, drafting and reviewing documents, and facilitating communication with clients.

Key Responsibilities

Support governance for domestic and global subsidiaries to ensure compliance with legal requirements.
Conduct preliminary reviews of the legal aspects of project proposals.
Draft agreements, correspondence, and other legal texts, providing appropriate comments to the corresponding Manager.
Assist in drafting legal documents for the final review of the manager.
Prepare legal memoranda and other legal documents, including administrative contracts and agreements such as contracts for personnel engagement, consultants, and procurement of goods or services.
Prepare background materials, reports, papers, and other documents as requested by the Manager.
Review Agreements, MOUs, NDAs, PoAs, and Board Resolutions.
Provide Board Secretarial support.
Manage and centralize corporate subsidiary data to streamline entity governance.
Perform and provide required KYC documentation in line with Global KYC procedures.
Monitor and renew licenses in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and established procedures.

The role requires performing planned activities to meet operational and development targets, utilizing resources effectively, and providing periodic reports on task execution and deviations. The specialist will be responsible for solving related problems, escalating complex operational issues, and ensuring quality requirements are met through effective control processes. Furthermore, the role involves coordinating well-defined written systems, policies, and procedures, seeking automation opportunities, and ensuring compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, work instructions, and health, safety, and environmental management controls.
